Usually by now I’m off out in the woodlands/ green spaces and beaches taking photos. We still get the Gulls visit us at home though. This either fine specimen or pest ( depending on your view point) was in the garden today, in all honesty it’s never too far away. It can hear the shed door open and knows that we are about to refill the feeders. There isn’t too much it can get to so there is plenty for the smaller birds.

Lockdown World Day 41
A video for you today , this is the most Bearded Iris we have ever had in the garden, so utterly amazed at the display we have this year . Just ignore the weeds, it’s the wild look !
Lockdown World Day 37
These are my tomato experiment – the tomatoes from Lidl , that were in the crisper, headed for the compost, that I grew instead. These were just seedlings when lockdown started, I had taken part in a live chat on Youtube hosted by medium Chris Fleming and had mentioned that we should be all trying to grow something on our window ledges . Well these are now far past the window ledge stage and in flowerpots on the floor of the conservatory and are producing wee mini unripe tomatoes. The world carries on and nature finds away.
Boredom buster today, go grow something https://foodrevolution.org/blog/reduce-food-waste-regrow-from-scraps/
Lockdown World Day 36
A few days back I replanted some of my primrose plants to create a new bed. These plants are dedicated to people who I want to make sure I remember to thank every day. They are named after my family, Twitter friends who everyday raise a smile, creative people who inspire me, people who inspire me spiritually and absent friends. You may think it is a bit soppy but being a spiritual sort of gal, I feel that perhaps it may provide some positive vibes , positive mojo , call it want you will. And let’s face it , positivity is what we need to get through this.
Today’s boredom buster https://www.duolingo.com , come and join me, my most recent language conquest? I’m learning Latin , yes, really!
Lockdown World Day 34
First Bearded Iris of the year, I love these flowers so much. They smell beautiful and this year I have do many buds. They love the very poor soil in our front garden.
Today’s boredom buster, hah, bet you thought I was running out. We’ll take a look here, every episode of my favourite podcast, free to listen to. The brilliant ‘SpiritTalk’ from medium and paranormal investigator Chris Fleming

Lockdown day 31
You know lockdown has got bad when Godzilla rampages through your houseleek bed. This bed is a lovely reminder of happier times as it contains all the sea shells we have collected in happier times.
We still remind ourselves of what these beaches look like by checking out the tourist webcams at the beaches http://www.lymeregis.org/webcam.aspx
Lockdown World Day 30
Good morning folks, day 30 dawns. We spent yesterday morning mowing the lawn. Much to the amusement of the birds, who now think they own the garden. Even the Goldfinches are telling us off.
