Houseleeks

The houseleeks I planted along our new stone border are doing very well, I have cleared them of the fallen leaves to make sure they don’t get too damp and hopefully they will stay alive during the winter to make a lovely display next year .

Blue Tit

We still have two Blue Tits in the garden, one of which is very interested in the nestbox. I do wonder of this is because there are insects around it and it is using it as a food source. Last year we had a breeding pair in the nest box which stopped feeding their chicks and as a result the chicks died, hopefully next year will be more successful.

The last few days

The last few days can be summed up in this photo, it rained and all the leaves came down. Then the conservatory ( where I do all my crafting) sprung a leak and it still kept raining. But this little leaf clung to our window, despite the wind, rain , sleet, snow and thunder. Never underestimate what you may view as fragile, we all have our inner strength.
